Types of License Available in JAFZA Free Zone
1. General Trading License
This license allows the owner to import, distribute and store all items according to the Jebel Ali free zone rules and regulations. Being costly, it gives access to a wider range of activities and a broader range of items.
2. Trading License
This license allows the holder to import, export, distribute and store items specified on the license.
This license allows the investor to carry out the services specified in the license within the Free Zone.
3. National Industrial License
This license is designed for manufacturing companies having at least 51% of ownership or shareholding with AGCC (Arabian Gulf Co-operation Council) nationals.
4. Industrial License
The owner has access to import raw materials, carry out the manufacture of specified products and export the finished products.
What type of Company you Can Setup in JAFZA Fres Zone and their Cost
1. Free Zone Establishment (FZE):
Any individual (single shareholder) or a corporate (company) can open FZE at the registration cost of start AED 10,000. It is a Limited Liability Company within the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
2. Free Zone Company (FZCO):
2 or more (max. 50) shareholders are allowed in FZCO. These Shareholders can be individuals (people), non-individuals (company or companies) or a combination of both. The registration fee cost starts from AED 15,000 (One-time)
3. Branch of a Company:
A branch is treated as a legal entity of its parent company. An entity established outside of the Jebel Ali Freezone may set up a branch within Jebel Ali Free Zone. Its registration fee is starting from AED 10,000 only.
